Conference & Workshops
This page highlights conferences, workshops, and other science convenings supported by the Council. These events bring together researchers, managers, and practitioners to share findings, explore emerging issues, and strengthen the connection between science and decision-making in the Tahoe Basin.
About Us
In partnership with management agency staff, the Council coordinates independent peer review to evaluate the scientific rigor and management relevance of studies, reports, and policy proposals. Panels of subject-matter experts provide objective technical feedback, which is documented and shared with agencies to support transparent, defensible decision-making.
Council members include two representatives from participating academic institutions and government agencies.
